The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) is a part of the Ministry of Science and Technology,Govt of India which  has a mandate to carry out the activities relating to indigenous technology promotion, development, utilization and transfer.

DSIR is operating  Technoentrpreneur Promotion Programme Outreach cum Cluster Innovation Centre (TOCIC)  at CSIR-NAL ,Bangalore  to  support Individual innovators, student innovators,Start-ups and at helping MSME clusters.
